Gamblers in the Philippines unaware they are playing with unregulated platforms

The findings from The Fourth Wall’s report shed light on a concerning trend in the Philippines, where many gamblers are either unaware or only partially aware of the risks involved in engaging with unregulated online gambling platforms. Despite the potential dangers, such as unresolved complaints and poor customer service, players are drawn to these sites because of perceived benefits like faster payouts and a wider variety of games, which they associate with greater opportunities to win. One of the most striking points from the report is that the majority of players (55%) didn’t fully understand the legal risks of using unregulated websites.
